Industry contributions showcased at annual CRC Association Convention
The annual CRC Association Convention was held in Canberra this year from 23rd—25th May. The event brought together representatives from the current 31 active Cooperative Research Centres, Universities and industry groups to examine the current state of the CRC program as well as ways forward to continue the success of the program.
During the event, The Hon Senator Arthur Sinodinos formally opened the 19th CRC Selection round while outlining his support for the overall CRC Program. Stage one closes on the 12th July economising an expression of interested., The Energy Pipelines CRC management team has been invited to and will continue to facilitate a bid with industry partners with the intent of establishing a new CRC focussing on future challenges for the Australian pipeline industry.
The event also provided an opportunity for CRC’s to showcase the importance of industry collaboration directly to politicians during an event at Parliament House. Keen interest in the value of the Energy Pipelines CRC to the Australian pipeline industry was shown buy a number of members of parliament from both mainstream political parties.
